Our Vintage-Carpets from Carpetbazar are hand-knotted unique items in every respect. We use Persian or Turkish antique originals for the production, which are reworked in a process developed by us and reinvented in a modern design.

The carpet goes through several washes and loses a large part of its actual colors. In order to achieve the typically worn character, we usually shorten the surface (the pile) significantly so that some of the light carpeting comes to light. With the beige and light-colored carpet bazaar pieces, we have mostly left the rugs in the great discolored look, but most of the vintage rugs from the carpet bazaar get the special colors and nuances in the loving and individual overdyeing and the final finish. The carpet is washed again and gently dried under the oriental sun.

Each of these steps is carried out by hand and precisely controlled by us.
